Some of us are born with the crafty gene, some of us are not. Some of us WANT the crafty gene. Martha is here to provide. Before Pinterest, there was Martha Stewart, and we Gen Xers had to actually watch television to understand the amazingness that Martha could create out of thin air. Few years and kids later, Martha is still creating things basically out of thin air… Keep Reading
Everyone knows the Vitamix as the supreme blender/mixer do-it-all tool for the kitchen, but are you actually using it? Not much intimidates me, but I wasn’t sure how to really get into the mix of this fancy machinery. I tried making smoothies, but they just weren’t coming out perfect – maybe I was adding too much since it was so big? Blended soups were no problem – my Butternut… Keep Reading
Alll the joys of BTS (back to school for you NOOBS) are here people! Schedules, homework, tests and yes, school lunches. I didn’t realize that going to our school meant making school lunches for basically the rest of my life. That’s a commitment, so anything making that morning routine easier is MUSIC TO MY EARS. But I also have a picky eater. So all those fancy cute lunches you parents… Keep Reading
This is a sponsored post on behalf of Disney Book Group. All opinions and recipes are my own. Thank you for supporting Football Food and Motherhood. I thought biting was only for babies. But then, the savage child I am raising bit off the top of my brand new water bottle in a matter of minutes. Then there was the headphone cord, my phone charger… and well, someone was going… Keep Reading
It’s that time of year where parents rejoice that the kids are finally heading back to school. But first comes the shopping. For us in private schools, we don’t get to embark on the wild BTS clothing shopping sprees, so we indulge in the more refined. The supplies. It seems that back to school is torturous to every parent in their own way, but in 2018, there are a lot… Keep Reading
A wise woman once told me that you have to decide what is more important in your life – money or time. It’s a hard question because clearly when you don’t have a lot of money, it’s more important – but then, time. Time is ALWAYS important because we only get a set amount of it allocated to us. Hmm. While you chew on that philosophy lesson for the day,… Keep Reading
Home is where the heart is. But we haven’t been really feeling our home. It’s been a long 2018. It kicked off with us having to move unexpectedly, and in a matter of 15 days. Even in NYC time, that’s fast as F. Not to mention, I came down with the flu right in the middle of it. Like I couldn’t move from my bed had to have friends help… Keep Reading
This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx.com. I am basically the worst gift giver out there. I am terrible at ideas, wait till the last minute, and apparently don’t listen and make lists on what people really love in order to get it for them. But people are HARD to shop for, and in the world where you can get anything literally within the same day or next day delivery, it’s hard… Keep Reading
This post is sponsored by Everpro Gray Away. All of the thoughts and opinions are my own. When I was in my twenties, I flew to Florida with my boyfriend at the time to visit his sister, who was conveniently married to a Miami Heat starter. These trips were always glamorous with trips to Taco Bell in a Maybach, personal training sessions with Derek Jeter’s own guy, followed by massage… Keep Reading

When you look at these – I hope you see the immense pride I have in them being a NON-creative mom. I also post this to prove that yes you – YOU – can make these as well. Because, if I can get crafty – ANYONE can. Put me in the kitchen? Masterpiece. Put me in front of a craft store and a Pinterest page, you’re lucky if I come… Keep Reading
Ok so let’s be honest right off the bat. I don’t like breakfast or anything to do with it. I like breakfast food – like eggs and pancakes – but more around 6pm than 6am. I probably haven’t ate breakfast voluntarily in over 10 years at least – unless it was aspirin for a raging hangover. But when you now have a child in preschool that requires breakfast five days… Keep Reading
