Obviously in Pittsburgh we’ve been fans since the first pigskin was thrown. Even as babies, we are cloaked in the terrible towel upon birth to mark our right of passage into this legacy. But for years, even with tons of huge female fans, the clothing selection wasn’t quite as vast as our football stats knowledge. Back in the day, instead of oversized jerseys (or buying kids’ sizes – yes- even a few years ago they didn’t have womens!) we used to make our own – creating our own fun works of Forever 21 tees and spray paint (true story).
But ladies, things have changed. Long gone are the days of pink jerseys and borrowing our boyfriend’s jersey.
Football fashion is here to stay.
In fact, this year, it’s actually trending. You’ll find TONS of celebs (like Alyssa Milano’s own line – including maternity items!) and name brands (Levis and Dooney and Bourke to name a few!) collaborating with NFL Fan Style to bring a line of clothes even non-fans will love to wear.
