It’s no secret that organic and healthy food is emerging fast on the market. However, as parents, it can still be a challenge to find them – or even afford them. Trying to keep chemicals out of Maximo’s diet is a lot harder these days than one would think, so when companies are making the effort to reach out to us moms – I listen.
Even before Stonyfield reached out to us, I was an avid fan of following them on social because they actually give you a glimpse into life on the farm – and photos of their farmers’ cows out in the pasture. Remember – happy cows means happy milk. Any company that is even remotely willing to be transparent about a business gets points in my book. You can follow them as well right here on Instagram.
First Refrigerated Yogurt Pouches!
Now Stonyfield is branching out their children’s line. They know that kids (and moms) love pouches, and we love fresh, organic yogurt – so guess what – they’ve given us what we need! Introducing the first refrigerated pouch available.
All of the Stonyfield organic yogurt pouches contain pure organic ingredients and never any high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors. Thanks Stonyfield for leaving out the bad stuff.
We decided to try them on a tough crowd – an 8 month-old and a 22 month-old. (The pouches come in different ages for – including YoBaby, YoToddler and YoKids). The favorite flavors were the YoToddler Strawberry-Beet-Berry, and YoKids Strawberry Banana.
NO MESS!
The verdict is in – both are happy fans. And this mom? Happy to have pouches on the go for walks in the park. Maximo LOVES yogurt, but when I have to give him a container and spoon, it goes everywhere. Pouches keep the on-the-go mess to a minimum. They are perfect for those early morning walks in the park and breakfast on the go on the subway.
