It’s officially 63 days till Christmas (but who’s counting?).
There are two kinds of holiday shoppers – those who prefer stores, and those who prefer online. Since I do most of my shopping online here in NYC, it’s a real treat to hit up the stores and take in all the visuals, especially for the holidays. It’s sensory overload for us New Yorkers – in a good way. I am pretty sure our eyes actually start twinkling once we walk in the door.
And this year, Sam’s Club has become one of our favorite contenders for holiday shopping. As a New Yorker, we still love to get it all “done at once” – efficient and effectively – and Sam’s Club provides everything under one roof. Let’s take a peek at what you can already find inside:
1 For your home
Sam’s Club offers their members some serious shopping discounts on quality items – and they have their own brand, Member’s Mark, that custom creates items just for Sam’s Club shoppers. Like these nutcrackers are exclusively available at Sam’s Club and are only $39 each. Really want to wow? You can also get a six-foot tall nutcracker for only $229.
This retro camper and truck remind me of growing up on the farm and are the cutest and newest décor (note it’s selling out fast so might want to order them ASAP)! Each are only $34.98. Speaking of, these lights come separate and I am a bit obsessed with them. These are something you can use around the house year-round and are less than $12.
2 For your holiday party
We love to invite people over all the time, and the holidays just give you another reason to get together. You can get these table-topping trees (they also look good on the floor too!) and garland. PS – this garland is FRESH AND REAL and 25-feet long for only $49. Think of the possibilities (crafty, anyone?) and how good your home is going to smell. This wooden tree also comes WITH the included décor inside for only $49.
Sam’s Club also makes all their own cakes, pies and beyond – and THEY’RE REALLY GOOD. Trust me, I sampled basically every. single. one. And where else can you get three pies for only $9.99 that look this pretty?
3 For your neighbor, teacher and beyond
Sam’s Club knows the pain of gifting at the holiday season – especially for someone like me who is terrible at it. I am pretty impressed with this six-set of coffee tumblers (that come WITH HOT COCOA INSIDE!) for only $19.99 so you can cross everyone off your list in one swoop.
I also love these individual games that are perfect stocking stuffers. You can get the three-pack of trivia for only $14.99 (and full disclosure, I grabbed the sports game for myself!). Can’t you just see the family playing around a warm fire just like the movies?
4 For the kids
Honestly, I don’t know if this is for me or the kids – it’s such a cool chair and holds up to 350 pounds! These “hangout PODS” are also made for indoor or outdoor use, so they will go great in the bedroom or even your balcony (or backyard, if you actually live outside the concrete jungle). They are only $199 each, and also come in blue/stars.
Speaking of outdoors, I am kind of also personally excited about this telescope that we can put on our balcony (and travel with!). Since we go hiking and camping a lot, I can’t wait for Maximo to take this upstate to REALLY see the stars. Our latest tradition is to use this app that maps the constellations for you while laying on blankets and starting at the stars. This will bring them even closer to us.
5 For you
Once the kids go to bed, it’s time to relax. And that means I save the Sam’s Club wine for me (not gifts!). Sam’s Club actually has a really incredible selection of Member’s Mark wines from California Red to Spanish Sangria and German Riesling (which is only $10.48 for a 1.5 liter bottle!). New this year they’ve brought in an Italian Moscato, French Bordeaux and Rose.
And what’s better than putting your feet up after all that holiday work? Grab your glass of wine and cheers to yourself while you sip in this cozy holiday bedroom while watching your favorite holiday classic. Which is yours? Mine is A Christmas Story – and while it may seem cliché – that movie has been playing 24 hours on TBS since I was a kid myself! I would love going to bed, and still waiting up to watching it, and I still do.
You can find everything (and more!) pictured at Sam’s Club. Closest to NYC = Seacacus, in case you were wondering!
