It’s no secret that I am book lover (and maybe quite possibly buy too many books for our NYC apartment), but there is just something still so gratifying about curling up with a good read. Especially when it’s with Max before bed, and he reads me a cute story that reminds me of growing up on the farm.
Our current favorite nighttime read is Good Night, Little Blue Truck (by Alice Schertle, illustrated by Jill McElmurry). I actually had an old blue pickup growing up, and it’s fun to remember dirt roads and starry nights. Something we don’t get to experience that often in NYC. It’s a perfect read for 4-8-year-olds, and it’s now available in stores as of October 15!
