Fun Fact: When I was just a mere five years old, we moved to Colorado. And not only did I see mountains for the first time, I saw Walmart. I will always remember this wondrous place. We didn’t have ANYTHING like it back home in Pennsylvania, and it was fascinating for a child – they had EVERYTHING! In one place! Especially in Colorado where things are so spread out, it can be hard to do all your shopping in one day, so Walmart was literally a game changer for us mountain dwellers.
To this day, I have always had a fond love of Walmart, and love to just peruse the aisles up and down and see what I can find – from good deals, to food items I maybe not have had since my childhood, and more. This week, I decided to take a couple hours to myself and prep for the Big Game coming up on February 5. Since the beloved Steelers won’t be there, I figured drowning my sorrows in food during the game is the next best thing.
Being a mom, we love finger foods in this house. And flavor. And a fun staple from my own childhood was Old El Paso Tacos – seriously! We loved tacos before Taco Tuesday was cool. So as I was just cruising down the aisle, I saw this BOLD NACHO CHEESE shells and thought – what would be better for curling up at home watching football with my favorite four-year-old sports fan than nacho tacos??
