It’s time for a lot of B, people. Bikinis, butts, Boudreaux, booty, bounce, #breaktheinternet, BE BETTER.
This is the year that you (yes, YOU!) will start to take better care of yourself. Not just having that green cold-pressed juice for lunch or trying the Whole30 diet – but actually CHANGING your lifestyle for the better. Making healthier and better habits will lead to lifelong change – right? *Yawn* I know you hear it a lot. But really, you need to start making more educated and efficient decisions in your life, and I am here to help you.
Talk to the Booty
First, it all starts with having a better you. Yes, you want ALL the best for your baby – but you can’t be the best mom to that baby unless YOU are happy and taking care of you. So how do you do that? My secret is to find something that you can do for yourself once a day. Just you. Even if it’s 5 minutes to read the headlines and sip your coffee alone, a shower or a barre class. Make the time. You can do it – 5 minutes.
In fact, I have found that barre class is one of my favorite things to do. It clears my mind, let’s me disconnect for one hour a day, and let me tell you, my booty has transformed. (Ask my guy friends in PGH who saw me in November and said my bartending booty from when I was 25 was BACK!). If that’s not inspiration, I don’t know what is.
My favorite you ask? Exhale (hence why I was excited to attend this class with Momtrends!). Yes – the instructor even recognized me from my classes at Central Park South. This will werk werk werk your booty. Who has time to go to class you ask? I’m glad you brought that up – they offer “live” classes now, too (so you can watch and participate from home). Plus there are some other really great monthly programs/apps out there that are good to have on-hand for days when kids stay home sick or the snow is just too much to leave the house. *ask me for details.
Boudreaux Butt Paste
And now after you work that booty, start protecting it from the tender age of new born with proven, honest products like Boudreaux Butt Paste. They now have a Maximum Strength Butt Paste Jar (with a flip top lid!), that makes for easy access and easy relief.
It’s both gentle on delicate booty and incredibly effective at helping to heal and prevent diaper rash. The maximum strength formula is fast-acting and safe (and free of dyes, parabens, preservatives, phthalates, and talc). This jar packs its own punch with 40 percent zinc oxide – that’s two times the rash-fighting power of the original formula. a
Butt Why?
Boudreaux Butt Paste isn’t just for babies. So stop being a baby! Since it works by forming a protective layer on the skin to sooth discomfort and prevent further breakdown, this stuff is incredibly soothing for adult problems, too like:
- razor burn (yikes!)
- zinc oxide can help as sunscreen!
- the zinc can help zip any adult acne that pops up overnight.
- CHAFING! Hello runners – I put this under my arms to prevent sports bra rub on long runs. I won’t mention the other places it’s good. 🙂
- remember those stinky sweaty feet (and shoes!) in summer? Butt paste can actually help prevent that.
And yet, you were wondering why you WOULDN’T have this on-hand at all times? Take care of that booty ladies – whether 2 months old or 75 years old.
This is a sponsored post by Boudreaux Butt Paste on behalf of Momtrends. All opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting Football Food and Motherhood.

No way – I had no idea butt paste was so useful! I need me some of that! Meanwhile, we have to talk – what is barre class? Where’s a good place to take one downtown? And will it cause me sudden death? 😉
