So quite a few of you have reached out to me and asked me about blogging.
Can you make a living from it?
How do you get started?
Is it fun? Do you really exposure your whole life?
To be honest – if you scroll alllll the way back to the very first post on my blog EVER, you’ll see – I NEVER expected to be a blogger. I call myself an “accidental blogger.” I honestly started because: 1. I love to write 2. I was the only preggo of my friends, I was in NYC and I needed a way to, well, survive pregnancy. 3. I thought it would be really cool for Maximo (aka baby barnez back then) to look back and see the journey we’ve been through together.
Not once did I ever think about making money on it. Swear.
I always wrote about what was on my mind, and I was honest about it – now it’s just taken on it’s own identity.
Do I make money? Sure do! Do I make enough to retire yet? Not a chance!
But I LOVE blogging. And anything that comes with it is just a perk. If you stay grounded, and do it because it’s what you WANT to do – you will be successful. But hey, that goes for anything in life, right? I also think swearing helps.
I’ve only been blogging for two years now, and grow each year by leaps and bounds, so I can’t wait to see where 2014 will take me? Maybe I’ll be sitting next to Tom Cruise at the Grammys tweeting live! Hey, you never know!
