We’ve become big fans of this series since I met the author, Andrea Beaty, at a conference in Brooklyn last year. While they have major leading ladies in these books and you might think they’re not good for boys too – you’re wrong. These books are a wealth of knowledge and fun to read with your kids, too. Since Max is just starting to advance in reading, we’ve been using these longer-form books to entertain us on trips – planes, trains, road trips and even sitting at the pool. The Questioneers are full of questions – which spark a lot of conversations (and keep them engaged and off iPads!).
