If you’ve never seen a Cirque du Soleil, you need to grab tickets to this show ASAP. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to see a few in Vegas, Pittsburgh and New York, but Max hasn’t yet. Since he’s five and LOVE Broadways shows, this is now the perfect time to introduce him to the incredible show – OVO as one last hurrah before heading back-to-school for kindergarten.
Cirque du Soleil: OVO will be coming to NYCB LIVE home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum (Uniondale/Long Island) only for a few days – August 30-Sept 3. Child tickets start $25. Family Pack also available starting at $140.
What’s the show about?
If you’ve never seen a Cirque du Soleil show, you’re in for a treat. These are overly interactive and immersive shows that take acrobats and contortions to a new level through incredibly descriptive themes that captivate and amaze through the entire performance. OVO itself is insect-themed – turning humans into life-sized curious bugs that work, play, fight and love in a non-stop motion.
