Football is here my friends. Fantasy drafts are happening left and right, players are dropping like flies already (Romo, anyone?) and the cool air today has me ready for black and gold sweatshirts and yinzer gear galore. This year, I’ve been recruited to join a new fantasy league (Yes, EMFL or Every Man’s Fantasy League is still going strong again, too – don’t worry!) – a few football fanatic women like myself across the country will compete in the FIRST EVER NFL Fan Style fantasy league.
You gotta love the NFL.
From being proactive with moms, to the NFL bloggers series where they relay us lots of first-hand information on news and teams to working hand-in-hand now with their Fan Style division, they know how to please their lady friends. It’s no surprise when women are becoming some of the most passionate fans for teams these days, but of course, we already knew that about the Steelers. 🙂
And I’m not just talking clothes here, fellas. Us ladies mean business. Just like our all-female fantasy team that’s been going strong for over 8 years now, this NFL Fan Style Fantasy Team is derived of 8 football focused fems.
Who will be taking the crown this year? It’s going to be fierce that’s for sure. And who did I pick up you ask? That’s right, you’re looking at Tom Brady’s owner right here. As James Harrison would say, I’m not afraid of a few fines or a four-week suspension. And as you can tell by my mention above, I am not sad to see Romo go. His time is up. Look, I never want anyone to get hurt, but this QB has been ruining lives and fantasy playoffs since 2012. No Mo.
