South Beach Inspired Spring Looks with Carter’s

Being a New York mom means always having to dress your babies “fashionably” for the playground. No, seriously. I get some raised eyebrows when Maximo hits the slides in sweat pants. But, dressing fancy everyday can be exhausting AND expensive – especially here in NYC. We may or may not have dropped $90 on a pair of boots for Maximo. No judgement.

So, when Carter’s reached out to me to work together to promote their new spring line – I gave it a peek. And, I was really impressed, especially for the boys! They had a really Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard nautical spring style that was bountiful and really affordable! They even have polos, cardigans and a seriously colorful and fun shorts/pants line for the boys! Thank you Carter’s for not forgetting to dress our little men to match the ladies! Seriously – can we head back to Martha, now?

Well, I took it a step farther – we came to South Beach! So now you miserable, cold New Yorkers ( I can say that I’ve been suffering, too) can see just how cute and trendy your little men will look – in a couple months. Don’t hate – it’s a quick 3 hour direct flight down here! And if we could make it with our wild toddler, so can you!

Maximo is a big fan of pirates, and his mom likes mint so we both won with this simple, soft graphic tee! And seriously, those shorts?? #superfly

You can’t go to Florida without a hot pink tee for the ladies.They were flocking to him on the beach in this tee more than the seagulls to the animal crackers he was tossing around.

Since Maximo was lucky enough to inherest my  cadaver white skin tone, we picked up one of these fun swim shirts to protect against the sun. It’s VERY manly with pirates, and just happened to match his swim trunks. That’s a score! #minisurferstyle

He went so H.A.M. at the beach he of course fell asleep before we had dinner. But, he still looked daper while snoozing in these red shorts and blue and white striped button down. At least us grown ups had a nice “adult” meal on the beach!

    Love the pictures of your little one! I think Carter’s has some great spring styles. I think my favorite are the Mixed Polka Dot dresses. I’d get both colors so my girls match 🙂
