Alas, it’s that time of year again – whether you love or hate holiday shopping.
I kept it simple and easy this year so you can just be one and done and head off to do what really matters – drink and avoid your relatives.
Family Matching Pajamas
You know you’re going to participate – willingly or not, so why not have some fun with it this year? Instead of the usual cute Christmas jammies, treat yoself to some new matching black and yellow.
Where to find: NFL Shop – women’s $34.99, men’s $34.99, and youth $27.99
The Hallmark Lover
We all have one (maybe it’s you). But everyone loves a good Hallmark reference, especially this time of year. If you can’t find the slippers (only available in stores!), next best is this popcorn tub. Because, Hallmark and chill.
Where to find: Hallmark store; $19.99
The “Healthy” One
Tired of all those healthy relatives trying to get you to eat better and exercise more? Get them a pair of these Brooks Ghost 12 Running Shoes and shoo them out the door faster than you can say Merry Christmas. These are my go-to running shoes right now (however, I do recommend getting fitted first before you love them for long mileage), but they’re also good for walking around the city, Barry’s Bootcamp and romantic strolls on the beach. If that’s your thing.
Where to find: Amazon, $129
The gamer
Knock on video games all you want, but I’ll take the downtime. Plus, anything that’s withstood the test of time like Mario and Pokemon deserve a little street cred. This new dual game pack, Pokemon Sword and Shield is a great gift – especially for siblings so they can each get one and swap. Or if you want to resort back to your own childhood, the New Legend of Zelda will take you there. *Nintendo provided us with these games for review.
Where to find: Nintendo store – Legend of Zelda, $59.99; Pokemon Sword and Shield Double Pack, $129.99.
The football lover
Do something different this year. Don’t worry, they’re removable and that’s what makes them cool AF. You can just put up for say, playoff season. Or in the man cave. And if you’re not into football, they do have some really cool other prints. It’s perfect for the indecisive person in your life who can’t pick a color. Or college students.
Where to find: Peel and Stick Wallpaper at Wallsauce.com, pricing varies
The Techie
Even if they still live in their mom’s basement, they can still love and use these two cool gadgets. The Amazon TV Fire Cube is voice-activated so you can be even lazier and not even get up from that couch to change the channel, let alone pick up a remote.
Where to get: Amazon, $89.99
And while you’re at it, we love this Google Nest Hub. You can make a cute little album in Google photos to play and watch (and change!) and even send that cute selfie right to Walgreens to print for pickup as a canvas. Even better? You can use it to stream your music, check the news and even play truth or dare (after the kids are asleep!).
Where to get: Google, $79
