If you had to define your style – what would it be?
That’s hard for a Yinzer. I’ll just say it – we don’t have the best style. Sorry out there Pittsburgh, but we don’t lol. I look back on my style in my twenties especially and it was a lot more on the Glamour Don’t list than Do. There was a lot of goth/bad ass mixed with really purple eyeshadow and pigtails. I would share images but I have to protect the innocent.
Anyways, after moving to NYC it didn’t get much better. I just added a lot more black to my already black and yellow wardrobe.
Then I had Max. Thank god I had a boy cause I knew how to buy for one. But boys clothes were pretty drab – until now at least. And I’ll be honest, I have a fashion consultant in my back pocket. We use Stitch Fix – and I am almost always in love with every piece in the kids’ box – especially for boys! I actually just have to say no sometimes because he doesn’t need one. more. pair. of shoes.

How does Stitch Fix Kids work?
Stitch Fix Kids is a great option for those who don’t have time to shop, don’t LIKE to shop or are just hopeless shoppers like myself. You answer some questions about your style, and then a stylist will send you 8-12 pieces as often as you want (we do once a month, about every three months for Maximo), and you can keep what you like, send back what you don’t. There’s a $20 styling fee (that goes towards an item if you buy it) and a pretty big discount if you keep the entire box.
Plus, we just like getting mail – and surprises! It’s actually really fun to see what you get each month.
Want to try Stitch Fix Kids?
Use my own link here and you’ll get $25 to spend on your first order (and so will I!). That will cover your first box even if you don’t like – so what are you waiting for?
